We build maintenance formulas from plants because that's how you get the best result, not despite it. If a plant-based formula couldn't outperform what you already trusted, we wouldn't sell it.
Why we started with plants, not the other way round
Most brands start with a formula and add "natural" to the label later, hoping nobody checks. We built Airolube from the opposite direction. We started with plant-based raw materials and refused to accept a drop in performance as the price for that choice.
That refusal is the entire company. Every formula in the range had to prove it worked as well as, or better than, what a serious cyclist or detailer already trusted, before it earned the Airolube name. Plant powered isn't the selling point. It's the standard we hold every formula to before performance even enters the conversation, and performance is still the thing you'll notice first.
We were the first brand in the Netherlands to build a complete natural bike care and detailing line. We're still the benchmark other brands measure themselves against. That didn't happen by luck. It happened because we treat performance as the requirement and plant powered as what we deliver on top of it.
No PTFE. No PFAS. No compromise.
Most chain lubes in the cycling world still lean on PTFE. Most degreasers still carry solvents you wouldn't want on your hands. Airolube formulas don't. Every product in the range is built without PTFE and without PFAS, and it still has to out-lubricate, out-clean, and outlast what you were using before.
Safe by Formula means exactly what it says. No GHS warning symbols on the label, no harsh solvents in the bottle, not because we found a certification that lets us say so, but because the formula itself doesn't need them. Check the label next to any product you're using today. That's the difference.

For the cyclist
You ride to ride, not to spend your Sunday cleaning a drivetrain. Every product is built with that in mind, from a chain wax that stays quiet for hundreds of kilometres to a degreaser that clears the worst grime in under a minute. Rinse off, done, back on the bike.
For the detailer
Your car is a project, not a chore. Coating-safe, pH-neutral, tested on PPF and ceramic coating, because "probably fine" isn't a standard you'd accept and it isn't one we'll offer you. One bottle, every surface you touch, no streaks, no do-overs.
The formula is only half the story.
Packaging made from 100% recycled R-HDPE, with pigments chosen specifically to keep black plastic sortable in the recycling stream. That's not a green sticker on the front, it's a decision made in the material itself, the same way the formula is a decision made before the label gets designed.

We don't ask you to take our word for it. Airolube formulas are tested year-round at world championships across cycling disciplines, in pro-continental road races, and in international MTB competitions, conditions where a product that underperforms gets noticed immediately and doesn't get used again.
