FAQ
Other coatings often demand a careful, multi-step process before they'll work properly. Frame Protect keeps it simple: spray it directly onto the frame, or onto a cloth first, apply it over the whole frame, and you're done. It's best applied to a clean frame though, so the coating bonds to the paint itself rather than to whatever dirt is sitting on top of it.
Some spray coatings leave matte finishes looking glossy and blotchy in patches, which is enough to put people off using them altogether. Frame Protect works on matte finishes as well as gloss, so there's no patchy sheen to worry about either way.
Frame Protect isn't recommended for use on discs or braking surfaces, so keep it to the frame and away from the rotor, though it causes no issues near rim brakes.
Some protectants still pick up noticeable grime on wet rides, even if it wipes off easily afterward. Frame Protect leaves a layer that keeps dirt from sticking as easily in the first place, so your frame stays cleaner between washes instead of just easier to clean.
